[It takes Karamatsu a bit of time- a half hour nearly- to get to where he thinks Dandy is. The problem here is that he has no idea who he's looking for, exactly. He's never met the guy, only talked to him over the network...in hindsight, meeting someone he's never met is probably stupid, but he's stronger than Dandy right now. He could protect himself if he decided to try anything funny.

Dandy might have a better time pointing him out among a crowd. He stands out harshly against the black and grey of Bavan as he comes up the sidewalk, blue and tinged green with three arms and a stump where the left should have been. He probably looks much like aliens Dandy's come across before, except he's definitely not in good shape right now.]

[Likewise, Dandy has no idea who the hell he's looking for either. Although in his case, he never thinks about those kinds of things anyway. This is normal, he's sure it'll work itself out. Heck, he even took the time to write this guy's name on his hand so he doesn't forget it. How's that for hindsight?!

Unfortunately, Karamatsu really is a lot like the aliens he's used to, as was every other monster he's met so far. He probably should've asked what kind of monster he is, all he has to go on is that this dude can fly. ...Which makes him believe he's some kind of bird.

Well, at least Dandy sorta stands out himself, what with his extravagant hair and bizarre sense of fashion. Those giant metal shoes are definitely not anything local. There's also a giant "D" on his jacket, that has to count for something.

Either way, he just sorta stands in front of the hotel and wiggles his hips while his hands sit in his pockets, showing how truly excited he is despite the bored expression on his face. Can't look too eager.]

[Well if his style didn't tip him off, the big D on his jacket sure helps. Plus...he's still human, so Karamatsu can guess he's new. Definitely not a local, either, going by his appearance.

His antennae twitch as he approaches him cautiously, one hand pushed into the pocket of the new leather jacket he made to replace the old one he refused to tear for his new arms. One of the sleeves is slack, and his other two arms hang loose at his sides.]

[Well look who finally decided to show up!]

[Dandy swipes a hand through his hair, a stupid smile on his face. Okay, so the guy isn't a bird, no big deal. As long as he's a bug that's got cash, it all works for him.]

[He pauses, taking a quick glance at his palm. The very same one that was...just in his hair.

Well, he's pretty sure his name isn't "giant black smudge," so it looks like he'll have to improvise.]

[Karamatsu himself looks pretty tired. Definitely like a guy (or bug) in need of a drink or two.]

[Yeah, Dandy can, um. Tell. I mean, he could tell just from his whiny ass post, but it feels good to be right.]

[SHRUG. He probably wasn't even paying attention to the time. Just that the wait was "long."]

[Karamatsu stops once he's close enough to get a better look at Dandy, and right away he's struck by...well, his fashion. Having worked in Ebony Threads as long as he has, it's turned his scrutinizing eye into something he can't really turn off anymore, even when he's having such a bad time like he had been this week.]

[He says, though not without tipping his head in Dandy's direction.]

Karamatsu smiles, just faintly, his lips curling around his mandibles.]

I meant your sense of fashion. It is very forward. I like it.

[If Mr. Chameleon was expecting a complement back, he'll have a hard time finding one. Dandy can see that Karamatsu at least tries at something resembling fashion, but he also doesn't care. He wants booze.]

...Guess it sucks seeing a bunch of slobs come in for almost a year, huh?

Mm...I do not know I would put it that way, exactly. I am more sad for them than anything.

[He moves slowly, but at a good enough pace to get them there relatively soon. The bar he's thinking of isn't far anyway, and outside of the red-light district, thankfully.]

[The Dandy grows impatient.]

Look, the moment I get my ship back is the moment I'm getting the hell off this planet. ...And maybe taking a select few who haven't pissed me off yet. So cut the dramatics, would ya?

[...Karamatsu isn't going to be the one to tell him that he isn't going to be getting his ship. Ever. Nor is he leaving any time soon unless the gods will it...but he will get a little miffed by being told to knock it off.]

[Karamatsu knows this behavior when he sees it. IE, Osomatsu does this to him and his brothers all the time. But Karamatsu is also a pushover, and easily influenced. Plus, he feels kindof bad for the guy. Plus...he could go for a drink himself, anyway.

He turns to look ahead, his shades keeping the direction of his eyes mostly hidden.]

I cannot buy too much. I have not been going to work lately, so...

[He must feel so lucky.]

[I MEAN you'd probably slack too if it was your boss who ripped your arm off. But that's neither here nor there.]

[He'd like to think he'd made a new friend, but even if he's hopeful, this guy is clearly mooching off of him. Oh well.]

[He nods forward as a building set next to the sidewalk comes into view, partially open to the street. As far as bars go, it's pretty average...except there are monsters at the bar.]

[...It's no BooBies, that's for sure. Deep breaths, Dandy. Take what you can get.]

[He's not saying this is something he worries about on a continuous basis, but...]

[The last time Kara went to a bar, he was talking to Gundam...it's bittersweet to him now, knowing the demon is no longer here. He gestures with his antennae for Dandy to follow him inside, heading for the end of the bar where there's no one sitting.]

If anyone is here, then they are not currently interested in feeding. They would be out hunting somewhere with more humans if that were the case.

[...he glances over to him just briefly as he pulls himself up into a barstool.]

[Dandy says as he takes his seat next to Kara, hands flapping against the bar table playfully as he takes a good look around. If anyone is there, he'd like to at least estimate how likely he'll be able to take 'em. ...Or outrun them.

[Karamatsu lifts his head when the bartender comes by, and he asks for a glass of beer, watching him hang back and wait for Dandy's order.]

[Dandy's attention turns to the bartender, a surprisingly pleasant smile on his face, like a kid about to ask for a fucking happy meal or something.

Unlike his gracious host, Dandy likes to think he's a little classier than a glass of beer.]

Scotch me- [Wait. He then turns to Karamatsu.] Hold up, are you telling me you took me to a bar you've never been to before?

I have not been to a lot of bars in Bavan, if you want me to be honest. I see this one on the way to work.

[He rests his remaining arm along the bar's surface.]
