i tried asking shingetsu-kun, and he explained some things to me, but it doesn't make a lot of sense.
he said that if your heart beats faster when you think about them, that sometimes means you like them, but not always.
and that other things could be that you feel all fuzzy inside, and you want to spend as much time with them as possible, and you want to hold their hand and kiss them.
and i don't wanna kiss anyone because kissing's really gross, but...those other things are true.
but i don't know if that means i have a crush...it was really confusing when he was talking about it.

well...all that stuff is true.
my heart does beat faster when i think about him, and i do feel all warm and fuzzy inside, especially when we're spending time together, and i do wanna spend as much time with him as i can. and i do want to hold his hand!
and i want to protect him, i don't ever want anyone or anything to hurt him.
i want to make him happy too! because he makes me really happy.
and i'm always really happy when he's happy, even if he's happy about something else.
and i get sad if he's sad, or mad if he's mad! and mad at whatever is making him sad or mad...
i want to get better at reading so i can read with him, or read some of the books he reads.
i mean...read more than just picture books. he reads picture books with me, but i want to read some of his harder books with him too.
oh, and i want to draw him a lot!
and i think he's really amazing...he's really smart, and he's really calm, and he knows how to fix lots of problems. and he always knows what to say when something's wrong, and always makes me feel better if i'm upset...
and he cares a whole lot about everyone. and always wants to do his best to help.
he's always trying really, really hard!
sometimes i think maybe too hard, because sometimes he looks really tired or worn out...but it's because he cares so much.
i wish i could help him with some of the stuff he does, more than i do. or more than he says i can. but i try my best to help him anyway.
i trust him more than i trust anyone else too, because i know that no matter what i can always trust him. and i try and be really trustworthy too, so he knows he can trust me.
and i'm really glad he's here and that i know him...i think i'd be really miserable if i didn't know him. i'd be really sad...it makes my chest hurt a lot if i think about that kind of thing.
