taken care of some things.

Her visit to Castle Mirai is one that she isn't exactly happy to make. She is filled with a sense of relief, but other things are not so pleasant.

She makes her way to Dandy's room, lacking her usual bounce and appearing just tired and empty in the eyes. ]

[Dandy is, of course, still awake, lying on his futon and peeling away at a bowl tangerines he's dragged out for himself. He looks pretty tired too, but if anyone were to ask him, he'd probably say he's staying up out of spite. How dare Mari wake him up, now she can deal with the guilt of knowing he isn't getting a good night sleep, etc.

He doesn't say anything when she enters, instead popping a piece of fruit into his mouth. In fact the first person to acknowledge her is his dog, who lifts her sleepy head to see who's at the door, only to place it back down and fall back asleep. She's not a spite monster like Dandy is.

When he feels like he's been quiet enough, he finally speaks.]

[ As much as Mari wants to go pet that dog, she halts herself right there in the doorway with her wings tucked against her back. ]

[Another bout of silence, Dandy continues to stuff his mouth until his tangerine is all gone before he grabs another.]

[ She does so almost on command with a heavy THUD that could shake the whole room. Her wings weakly droop to either side to fit against the ground. ]

Dandy, I... I didn't know. [ Her hands fly to her face, covering her eyes up as she lets out a strangled sob. ]

[More silence, especially when he gets to the delicious fruit center of his tangerine. It's longer this time, only speaking up when her sobs aren't so strangled.]
