Anyway, I wrote some songs and made some costumes! Or, I drew up some outfits for myself. I need to get someone to make them~☆☆☆

[Dandy grumbles a bit to himself, which can probably be heard considering how close their rooms are. Is she...apologizing to him?

She just needs to pick up on more of Dandy's...

Nuances...

If he can't hear her SQUEAL from her room, then he should hear her bounding over to the door and pressing her ear against it.

Her voice flutters up from behind it like a little chime singing right through the wood. Her voice is pretty and has a little twang and slur on it where it counts. The song itself betrays it by coming off as funky and dark: ]

♫ Fall in love with my Guilty Eyes~ ♫ [ Her fingers tap on the door to keep a beat, playing with what would be a drum machine or summat in the background. ] ♫ Shutdown, shutdown! Guilty Fever~~ ♫

[ Tappa-tap-tap allll the way up the door with her fingernails. ]

♫ I won't give it to just any~one! This--! Shutdown, shutdown! ♫ [ The door swings on open and there she is with a hand out for him. ] ♫ Guilty Fever! ♫

[ BUT SHE AIN'T DONE, MAN. C'MON IN. ]

♫ Don't tell me yes or no; you can't answer that surely~ Not when your darling eyes can't pull themselves from me~ ♫

[The squeal automatically causes Dandy to roll his eyes, his hands shoved firmly into his pockets as he heads over to the other room.

She better make it quick, he thinks before he's interrupted by the tapping on the door and the accompanied singing. ...Oh. Well, that's...good then! She's starting right away, which means it'll be over right away...

She better not need a door for her act, is his new thought as he just kind of stands there for a bit, hunched over as he considers how he'd even set that up on a stage. Like...would she just stand behind a door in the middle of--

The door flies open and Dandy takes a step back, arching an eyebrow. He's not sure what exactly possesses him to do what he does next, maybe it's his massive ego that hates giving anyone any chance to upstage him, maybe it's the way Mari holds her hand out so invitingly...

But he takes it, takes her hand and pulls her close, before spinning her in the hallway and draping her over his other arm. Haha, hope she didn't have a whole routine lined up, Dandy smirks to himself. If she wants to work for him, then she'll just have to learn how to deal with him. She wants to help so badly, after all~]

] Whoo!

She might have had a dance lined up but she can improvise with a partner. Quick on her feet and quicker in her creative strengths, Mari spins along with him, stopping only when she gets a chance to turn that drape into a dramatic little dip. ]

♫ If you want me to yourself, tell me here and now~ ♫ [ She walks a couple of her fingers up his nearest arm as she pushes her weight up to stand properly with a little hop. Those walking fingers hop up to wag one in his face. ] ♫ But if I catch 'ya in a lie, I swear I'll shut you down! ♫

♫ So if you want it, you've gotta come and get it-- ♫ [ A pause to tickle her fingers under his chin like a cat. ] ♫ Or someone'll take it from you... ♫ [ Punctuated by her pushing herself from him with a playful hand batting his chest. After twirling away a few steps, Mari's fingers flutter in front of her eyes at what sounds like a pre-chorus. ]

♫ But so, so deep down, my Guilty Eyes have been locked on to only you...~ ♫ [ Come, hither eyelashes and a curl of a finger to maybe draw him over. ] ♫ There's nowhere to run, there's nowhere to hide, and now you'll never escape!

You are my love and I'm coming for you...~ ♫

[ C'mere Dandy, you gross, weird dolphin. She likes that he can play along!! ]

[Hm...

On one hand, Dandy's a bit disappointed he couldn't throw her off and make fun of her more, it would've been great to go on a tangent about how if she wants to work for him, she has to be sharp and stay on her toes yadda yadda yadda. On the other hand, she was totally sharp and stayed on her toes, so he can keep doing whatever the hell this is. Very well, this is but one test passed.

Being the gross weird dolphin that he is, Dandy begins to bite at the air, inches away from her wagging finger. When he feels her touch under his chin, his upper lip curls into a snarl, revealing the inhumanly sharp teeth that lie in his mouth. Despite the display and the rather seriously look on his face, he still manages to give the air that he's still totally playing, his hands on her shoulders as he gives a fake shove when she pushes herself away.

It's when she beckons him over does that snarl turn into a smirk, he shuffles over in rhythm to her words, his hips rotating in a manner that should be illegal. His last step towards her ends in a spin as he pivots on one foot, his head whipping towards her direction when he stops.]

There you go! [ She breaks the song to burst into a giggle.

Mari jives right on through it, turning away from Dandy with a wiggle of her own hips. Hands fly up into the air, popping her up onto her toes for half a second and back down when she picks the chorus up at last: ]

Wooooo~! ♫ Shut! Down! Lose yourself in a place that's meant for us; surrender now and unleash your Guilty Soul~! ♫ [ Like pulling the strings of a puppet, Mari's wrists flit and isolate to give off an air of projecting a spell toward her 'victim'. They flick upward and then back down yet again suddenly-- ] ♫ Up! Down! I've cast my spell; roped your heart right into mine~ Confess to me your only love...~ ♫

[ Wrapping up the chorus, her voice drops to a purr on a lead out, again gesturing toward Dandy and slinking forward with a coy pout of her lips. ]

♫ Look into my eyes...~ You've got that Fever~ Say you need me now~ That Guilty Fever! ♫

[ An inch or so from his face, she winks and blows the merman a kiss that-a-way. Her lips split into a grin after. ]
