[Jongdae has put the wonder of writing letters back in Maya's head! Of course, when she lives so close to some of the people she'd send letters to, it does seem a little silly.

Silly or not, a letter does make it to their shared house, for Dandy. It's just as stupid as expected.

There are little stars drawn in instead of hearts, but it's the same stupid sentiment. She's absolutely delighted over her little joke, too. How could she resist sending such a good love letter to her husband?]

[Dandy didn't even consider the fact that they could possibly get mail all the way out there, so he's surprised just to get a letter at all. When he sees it's from his wife who lives with him, he can't help but give a look when he peers over the piece of paper.

The contents aren't helping.

With a sigh, he stomps over to another room, you know, for privacy, then stomps out so he can drive ALL THE WAY TO BAVAN just to mail his response. He's wasting gas money on you, Maya, hope you're happy.

When Maya receives her reply, she'll find Dandy has scribbled in his own answer besides his own hastily drawn in checked box.]

Did Dandy think this was over? Oh no, far from it.

In fact, Dandy receives that very same letter again postmarked from Bavan. This time, there's a new drawing over Dandys' big beautiful boobie emoji.

Maya's taken pink ink and turned it into the Pink Princess, whose pink flower plates fit perfectly over those boobs.

written around it is Defender of love and justice!! and shit like that. there's not a lot of meaning to this one.

Dandy's next update is a simple one, which is a shame considering how long it takes to send this thing out. Under the biggest space of Maya's little LOVE AND JUSTICE note, he sneaks in a word bubble that reads:]

AND I WUV DANDY!!!

[He's pretty sure he remembers her telling him this character is based on her or something, so he reasons it's fine.]

[Fine, fine, two can play at that game. Maya takes a little longer to send a reply too, but only beacuse she's teken the time to draw a whole Dandy as the Steel Samurai (as opposed to Larry).

she's also written "THE STEEL" over Dandy's name, so that this pink princess can love THE STEEL DANDY, apparently.]

[...Alright, he has to search the house for her after seeing that one, hunting through their entire home before throwing the doodled on questionnaire in front of her.]

Dude, there's no way I can beat this, you brought your big guns in too early.

[Luckily, she's in one of the parts of their house where things do not perish easily to their love of water. So, not the bed room.]

Oh, so you saw it?

[She might look a little proud of herself, grinning like that.]

Yeah, I thought it might be. But who knows, I could have a new letter for you any day~

Wait, no, that's not what he wanted to talk about. Dandy picks up the original letter and points at her doodles specifically.]

Why don't you draw like this all the time, huh? You're already killin' it, I bet you could make something real epic if you wanted to.

[She's already putting his bazooka dog to shame.]

[Eyes all big and bright, Maya stares at Dandy with just the slightest bit of confusion, as though maybe perhaps she'd never even thought about it before.]

Oh, I dunno. I guess I just like drawing fanart.

[Looking at her own art triggers a memory though, and she smiles a little. Huh. She wonders what ever happened to Shelly DeKiller's card?]

[Can he sit next to her? He's gonna sit next to her.]

I mean...yeah, you can keep drawing nerd crap, but like...if you drew somethin' really big, we could hang it up, y'know?

It'd be like a sweet poster only we have, people see that and get super jealous. Or, like...at least have a neat conversation starter.

[Maya gets comfy up next to him. Yes, perfect. Sit there, be available to lean on.]

I was thinking of drawing something for Mr. Fidds and Marco's anniversary, actually. So maybe I can make us a big poster, too.

Yeah, I getcha... Get your stuff out there hangin' in other people's places, you can drum up your own little market...

You're right, though, with-- certain people not around... there's not really anyone supplying that fanart market.

[Maya's grin returns, leaning back in against Dandy's chest and looking up at him like a happy cat.]

I'm glad! I thought it was great, too. You'd look great in that costume, you know!

You bet! [Dandy confirms, grinning just as big back at her.] Knownin' how much that samurai guy means to you, kinda made me feel like a hero~

[Fun and games aside, there was no denying the Steel Samurai was a huge part of Maya's life. Hell, one of the first things he ever did for her was get her those posters. If that's how she sees him, doodle or not, he's gotta be doing something right.]

It's just too bad that getup looks like a pain in the ass to make, not sure my hair could survive a helmet, either.

[Maya rolls her eyes a little, leaning forward again and pushing her own hair out of her face, shaking her head.]

Mmm, you have your heroic moments, sometimes.

But, you're right, your hair's too nice all loose now to keep up in that helmet.
