[Dandy can't even find the words to express how he's feeling right now. It's like there's a gross, nasty lump sitting inside the pit of his stomach, a mix of all the grief and shame and disappointment, stuff that's been building for some time now that's only suddenly quadrupled in size thanks to the events of last week. He's utterly disgusted with himself and he can't figure out a way to make himself feel clean again.
And he hates it.
Dandy was always the kind of person who believed that to live the best possible life, you need to go with the flow. ...But what the hell do you do when you feel like the flow has betrayed you? Before it was like he had absolute freedom, his morals never clashed with his way of life because the flow always went in the direction he wanted.
But Ryslig makes it so hard, and a part of him knows he has to throw out that philosophy at this point. If he just sat back and embraced everything that happens, then he would've been an unstoppable murder machine both in and out of the fog on day one and he just can't...
...Maybe his other philosophy will have to take over. Live however makes you feel good.
Well, he certainly doesn't feel good now. It's almost amazing how the more dedicated Foggies keep telling him that being here is the ultimate freedom, he's never felt more trapped. And after what he did, he's not sure he could ever feel happy again.
Or at least that's how it feels, until he hears Maya's voice through the water. Dandy lies on his stomach, head rested on his arms as he relaxes on a rocky surface. There's a faint glow from his markings and his longer hair drifts around him, obscuring some of his face. Kind of like his fog form...
He doesn't look at her or anything, but at least he isn't that much of a sulky shit to ignore her completely.]
Nothin'.
[Just having an existential crisis.]
I'll catch you guys later... Just make sure Makoto doesn't eat everything.
So sad, so sulky
