[There's a quick message left on Dandy's Gear this morning. One might go so far as to call it frantic. It's well punctuated still at least so that's something.]
that it was unexpected, for me...its difficult to explain
[Why are there so many rabbits in this world, he can't escape them-
He decides to switch from text to video since it seems easier to get his point across that way with his Gear propped up so he has use of his hands. Mostly because...both of his hands are holding a Scorbunny beneath his little arms, the bunny kicking his legs every so often like he wants to run.]
[When Legosi gets Dandy's feed in return, it looks like he's in a forest, a forest...he must've been in for a long time because he looks very tired and very dirty.
Turns out Viridian Forest...is a big forest.]
Look, if your animals are pissin' you off, just put 'em in their balls until they calm the hell down. They couldn't make this any easier for you.
[Oh Dandy, you poor thing. Legosi would try to be more helpful if he weren't in a very different part of the region himself right now dealing with his own unique, first-world problems.]
It's not...I'm not mad at them, I'm just...not sure how to deal with them sometimes. And I don't want them to associate being put away as a bad thing.
[That's how you raise Pokemon that break out of their balls every two seconds.]
[Oh right, he's soaked too, apparently it's been raining. What was once a beautiful pompadour is now just a whole lot of hair caked to his face. Dandy and his deino have never looked more alike.
[His bedraggled state is at least enough to distract Legosi momentarily from his rabbit problems, because he's nothing if not attentive. Unfortunately though, money isn't going to do much if you're stuck in a forest.]
Where does it look like?! [Dandy throws an arm behind him and gestures to all the trees.] I'm stuck in a goddamn forest!!
[With his arm moved, Martini can actually be seen behind him, shaking off some excess water. Not that it helps much, she too continues to get soaked while the rain continues. She can't even bring herself to make a little quip, this sucks.
Dandy sighs, and for once has a moment of clarity, bringing his hand behind his neck in an attempt to calm himself down. It's not Legosi's fault it's raining, or that this forest is so big, he also has to remember he's giving him free money. It...it would suck if he lost that.
Alright, deep breaths. He's gotta do it...for the money.]
I may have accidentally took the longest way to the next city. [He huffs, but at least he's not shouting anymore.] Place is like a damn maze, I'm never gettin' anywhere at this rate.
[If it helps, even though it isn't his fault it's raining, Legosi still looks sympathetic to Dandy's plight. He can't blame him for being frustrated, having dealt with some rough traveling on his own...it was never this bad even when he was wobbling around like a baby deer, though.]
Mm...do you have any Pokemon who can fly? You might not be able to travel on them, but you could have them go a bit higher above the trees to maybe help you find your way.
[There's an audible gasp, but it's not coming from Dandy. Instead, it comes from the Pokemon behind him, Martini puffing out her cheeks and looking the other way. Although Dandy doesn't snap, he continues to look...very tired.
That would be a sore spot for her.]
No...I don't...
[He then looks over his shoulder at his partner, making sure to speak nice and loud and clear.]
AND I DON'T NEED ONE RIGHT NOW!! SO NO ONE NEEDS TO WORRY!!
[Martini's response is to start firing Dragon Breaths into the air aimlessly while she stomps her adorable little feet. Dandy continues to ignore her, as if this is just a thing that's been happening a lot.
Especially lately.]
She'll get over it.
...But now that I think about it, I think the chick I'm with managed to snag a little birdy awhile back. I never really considered using other people's pets before, no clue if it'd even listen.
[Again Dandy can't help but sound annoyed, but it's not Legosi's fault he doesn't know the exact circumstances of Dandy's plight. At the very least, he's been great to vent at.]
I dunno what gives, but if I so much as complain about a rock in my shoe, she just calls me a "city boy" and suddenly I'M the baby. I'm not even from the city.
[And here Legosi thought "fast rabbit" was the worst of his problems. He could also be wet and full of rocks.]
[Sounds like Dandy's got a feisty travel partner, and despite all of the hardships he's listing...Legosi finds himself mildly jealous. It can't be boring, at the very least.]
[...Dandy is certainly not used to someone who's able to handle his nonsense so...gently. It's too bad he can't appreciate it, he honestly doesn't deserve Legosi at this rate.]
Women don't tease me. ...Well, not like that, anyway.
[He's travelling with her, so it's not like she isn't nearby. Because of this, Dandy finds himself walking off a little, his voice noticeably much quieter.]
...I didn't get any help until I hit Cherrygrove, so I know it can be- We were just headin' the same way, y'know? It's no big deal.
I assume this inbox is still valid, 4/24ish

Sounds rough.

Where...are you, right now?

Legosi may not always be the quickest on the uptake, especially when it comes to social cues, but that one right there was...pretty obvious.]
Oh, d-did....did I say something wrong...?

[Dandy tries his best to ignore the scene Martini is now having.]
...She has opinions.

[Legosi makes sure to stress that, his attention on Martini even if Dandy is ignoring her.]
You are perfectly fine just the way you are. You'll find a different way out of that forest, I am sure of it.

Oh, wait, he means a girl doesn't he. Be careful with those euphamisms around someone who once had actual chicken classmates.]
I think it would be worth asking. I imagine she must want to find a way out of the forest as much as you do.

[Believe him Dandy, he would know.]
Is she decent to travel with, at least?
no subject
I mean, I don't hate her? There's a whooooole lotta people I can't stand being around, so good for her for not being one of 'em?
no subject
Also wow Dandy, somehow he's not surprised to hear that...]
That's good. If she is new, she probably is very happy to have someone like you who knows how things work here to travel with too, you know.

I know. I am glad for you both, at any rate. Would you like me to send a bit more money so there's enough for both of you?
