Being stuck in Viridian Forest, Dandy eventually ran into a Pikachu who seemed super into his newest team member, Baby. The two electric-types really hit it off and Dandy couldn't bring himself to rip them apart. She really won him over when he found out she has an interest in surfing, and now Dandy wants to try and make her dreams come true. Maybe he can take her to one of those sweet islands someday...
